JUNIOR ACHIEVERS - CA Boys Track and Field Class Leaders

* * *

Here we are, the last day of February with the outdoor season still in its infancy, many states still in their indoor season or in between seasons, yet we in the Golden State are nearly two full weeks in. At least in parts of the fractured and weather-altered CA track and field calendar.

Nonetheless, athletes are out there doing their thing and our objective is to bring them into focus. This article is a sampling of outstanding performances by CA high school track and field athletes in the Class of 2024.

Selections are based on U.S. rankings in the class from outdoor season invitationals and selected league meets. Non-outdoor season all-comers, indoor meets, and other marks achieved outside of the official outdoor season were not considered for this article.

Marks are based on results processed into the MileSplit database as of 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rankings are subject to change as results from around the country are added. Meets are invitationals unless noted as a dual.
