POLL Girls Track and Field Performer of the Week

'23 TRACK and FIELD PERFORMER OF THE WEEK POLL

Congratulations to Emily Psarras of Mission Viejo (SS) this week's top vote-getting for MileSplit Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Week.

Emily, a University of Arizona-bound senior who was the CIF-Southern Section Masters runner-up and placed seventh at the State Meet as a junior, won the long jump competition at the annual LEAP Fest Jumps-Only Showcase, hitting 18-10.25 in the event at Mater Dei HS.

Emily received 45 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. Mikaela Warr, a junior sprinter at Canyon Country Canyon (SS) was second in the voting at 32 percent, and Aspen Fears, a junior pole vaulter at Vista Murrieta (SS) was third with 14 percent of the vote.

Congratulations to all athletes whose performance warranted consideration in last week's poll and thanks to everyone who voted.

Who's next?

Each week we will selected seven or eight top performers from the previous week/weekend and put them on the line for you to select the CA T&F Performer of the Week.

Check out the resumes below and then make sure to vote in the FanPower module at the bottom of the page. As always, voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.

So we've gotta ask: WHO YA GOT?
