CHAMPS XC NATIONALS - Meet the West Region Team

Ventura (CA) HS sophomore Sadie Engelhardt led the way on Dec. 3 at Mt. San Antonio College as boys and girls competed for one of 10 spots representing the West Region at the CHAMPS National Cross Country Championships on Dec. 10 at Morley Field in San Diego. High school athletes from a dozen western states were eligible to compete with just the first 10 across the line in each championship race earning the coveted spot heading to San Diego for what will be the 43rd running of this National Cross Country event.
