Congratulations to last week's top vote-getter, Jake Typrowicz of Palos Verdes (SS)!!
Typrowicz, a senior, was the fastest boy on the course at the Riverside Invitational, running 15:28.90 over the 3-mile Riverside City Course.
Typrowicz received a 42 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. Parker Simmons of Crescenta Valley (SS) was second in the voting receiving 28 percent of votes.
Each week we will put seven top cross country performers on the line and then leave it up to you to select the overall CA XC Runner of the Week. Our objective each week will be to select top performers from across the state.

Joshua Bell (Templeton, CS) - Bell, a junior, won his fifth race of the season in taking the title at the San Luis Obispo County Championships, running 14:42.53 to win by more than 45 seconds on the 3-mile course at Laguna Lake Golf Course.
Chris Caudillo (Clovis/CS) - Caudillo, a senior, won for the fifth time in seven races this fall, rolling to victory at the John Seaman Invitational, running 14:30.84 to win by more than 29 seconds in the large school division race on the 3-mile course in Kingsburg.
Donovan Cheruiyot (Vacaville/SJ) - Cheruiyot, a senior, won his second race of the season, rolling to the individual title in the MEL Championships, running 15:47.30 to lead his team to a 15-point sweep on the 3-mile course at Lagoon Valley Park in Vacaville.
Josh Chu (Ponderosa/SJ) - Chu, a junior, won for the third time this season, cruising to the league title at the Foothill Valley League Finals, running 14:34.40 to win by more than 16 seconds on the 3-mile course at Maidu Regional Park in Roseville.
Ryan Mitchell (Davis/SJ) - Mitchell, a senior, won for the sixth time in eight races when he rolled to victory at the Delta League Finals, running 14:43.10 - a 45-second improvement YOY - to win by nearly a minute over the 5K course at William Jessup University in Rocklin.
Nathan Short (Folsom/SJ) - Short, a senior, won for the sixth time in seven races this fall in taking the title at the Sierra Foothill League Finals, running 15:17.9 to win by 1.9 seconds on the 5K course at William Jessup University in Rocklin.
Eyan Turk (Woodcrest Christian/SS) - Turk, a sophomore, won for the sixth time in eight races and completed a 4-0 October when he completed a three-race series sweep of the Small Schools League, running 15:39.06 to win by more than nine seconds on the 3-mile course at Lake Perris.
