Ray Oldham, a senior at Davis (SJ), won two events at the Sacramento Meet of Champions, the invitational high jump with a top clearance of 6-7, and the open division long jump with a PR of 22-4 (1.6).

For that performance, you voted Oldham as the MileSplitCA Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending April 23.

Oldham received 74.61 percent of more than 1,200 votes in a statewide poll. Jeremy Kain, a senior at Scotts Valley (CC), was second in the voting, receiving 16.55 percent of the vote.

Each week we will put seven top performers from the past week on the line and let you choose the top CA Track and Field Performer of the Week. This week, with so many strong performances at league finals, we have expanded the list of candidates.

Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
