JC Stevenson, a senior at Great Oak (SS), swept the horizontal jumps at the Arcadia Invitational, winning the long jump in a CA-best 24-9.50 (0.9) and the triple jump with a best of 48-3.75. His long jump mark ranked No. 8 all-time at the meet and No. 5 in the U.S. for all conditions. In the triple jump, he hit his winning jump on his final of six attempts.

For that performance, you voted Stevenson as the MileSplitCA Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending April 9.

Stevenson received 53.74 percent of more than 2,300 votes in a statewide poll. Dijon Stanley, a junior at Granada Hills Charter (LA), was second in the voting, receiving 30.74 percent of the vote.

Each week we will put seven top performers from the past week on the line and let you choose the top CA Track and Field Performer of the Week. This week we couldn't decide so we are adding an eighth boys performer for your consideration.

(NOTE: Rankings are based on results in the MileSplit database as of Monday early afternoon and are subject to change as more results are loaded into the database.)

Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
