Arielle McKenzie a sophomore at La Canada (SS) won the 1500-meter title at the CA Winter Champs, running 4:34.28 to edge JSerra senior Ashlee Gallegos (4:35.81).

In recognition of her accomplishments, McKenzie was voted as CA's Girls Performer of the Week for the period ending Jan. 22, receiving 51.01 percent of nearly 20,000 votes in a statewide poll. This is the second time this winter McKenzie has been the voting favorite. Golden Valley (SS) junior Ta'Ahjah Fann was second in the voting with 33.72 percent of the vote.

With a short break in statewide action before the official 2022 outdoor season begins, this week's poll asks who you to tell us who will be the top senior combination-event performer in 2022? We identified 11 returning senior girls who rank among the CA elites in more than one event. Who's going to absolutely crush it this spring?

Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.

Who ya got?
