Arielle McKenzie, a sophomore at La Canada (SS), was the CA Winter track leader for 600 meters (1:35.06) and ranked fourth in the 1500-meter run (4:51.11) entering the final weekend of CA Winter Championships qualifying.

In recognition of her accomplishments, McKenzie was voted as CA's Girls Performer of the Week for the period ending Jan. 18, receiving 54.52 percent of more than 35,500 votes in a statewide poll. Redondo Union (SS) senior Eve Divinity was second with 31.29 percent of the vote.

Vote for this week's CA Girls Performer of the Week based on results for the week ending Jan. 22. Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
