200 Dash

Consider that six of the Top 10 all-time performances come from multi-time Olympian Alyson Felix and that her national record of 22.11 is .32 ahead of the next-best time. For sprinters, that's like a 30-second gap for distance runners.

The Los Angeles Baptist speedster let the world know early she was going to be one of the best by winning three straight 100- and a pair of 200-meter titles between 2001 and 2003. Although Marion Jones won four 100s, her best 200 time is 'only' 22.58 -- the No. 9 all-time performance.

Felix, of course, was just getting started as she went on to win the 200-meter dash in the London Olympics as part of three gold medal performances counting the 4x100 and 4x400. In all, she captured nine Olympic medals, six of them gold.
