Colleen McCandless (Granada, Senior) -- Claimed the final qualifying spot on the West Region team, placing 
10th at FLW (18:25.6) a year after placing 35th (19:20.90). ... She crossed the line 0.9 seconds before Miliana Perez of Clovis North, who was 11th. ... Two-time North Coast Section champion and runner-up as a sophomore. ... Third at the CIF-State Division II final (17:47.80, PR for 5K) won by Fahy while helping her team to a runner-up finish. ... McCandless was eighth as a junior (18:06.10) and 52nd as a sophomore (18:58.00). ...
