This 100 meter race is wide open and three sprinters seem to have the edge over the rest of the field. Carondelet (NCS) senior Mikayla Scott ran her best time (11.86) this season in the biggest meet of the year at Arcadia. Kaylah Robinson El Cerrito NCS (11.87) is one of the top dual sprinter/hurdlers in the state and could be aiming at a double victory here. Carson (LA) will have three sprinters in the fastest sprint race with Kenyla Miles 11.90, Saundria Martin 12.15 and Kennedi Atkins 12.35.
The state of Nevada will be represented well at this meet including this race with the fastest entrant, Bobby Widmar Reed 10.72. He will have plenty of competition with the rest of the field all coming in with season best times under 11 seconds. Gino Long San Leandro (NCS) 10.78 along with local sprinters Diego Gallardo Jesuit (SJS) 10.89, Evans Lawrence Inderkum (SJS) 10.89 and Philip Brown Foothill (SJS) should make it very tough on the timer of this meet.
