The debate will rage on about the finest state meet in the United States but no matter how you look at it, one of the best will take place this weekend at Buchanan HS which will host the 98th annual CA State track and field meet. This will be the 8th year in a row that the city of Clovis has hosted the state meet. The forecast for the meet is for highs of 106 for Friday and 105 for Saturday.
Below are the favorites and contenders for each running and field event this coming Friday and Saturday in the order that they will take place starting on Friday. The times and marks noted after each team and individual are season best efforts and not necessarily from the section finals.
