The depth in California distance running is well stocked once again this year despite the graduation of last year's stellar class. You can now add Callum Bolger of San Luis Obispo HS to the list of contenders for the state 3200 meter title. At yesterday's Atascadero Invitational, Bolger dipped under the 9 minute mark with a solo 8:57.88 personal best. Bolger finished in 2nd place at the 2015 California State XC meet Division III race behind Austin Tamagno.
