Albert Caruana of Cross Country Express reported that Jim Tracy, coach at University High School in San Francisco, passed away after a long battle with ALS.

On a personal note, I feel lucky to have known Jim. Throughout his illness he continued to lead his team. He was an authentic and geniune man who gave everything to his athletes. He will be missed by the running community.
