Now that the state meet is past us and cross country is over for the majority of California's runners, it's time to look back on the season. We begin with a comprehensive salute to the state's best seniors, which we started this morning. We've prepared a special report that compares senior season bests to freshman season bests for the top 500 seniors that had marks recorded in both years (2013 and 2016). We used both 5K and 3 Mile times, in case a runner from the Southern Section (for example) didn't make the state meet his or her freshman year and only had 3 Mile times. We've also prepared final Class or 2017 rankings using current season bests only.
Congratulations to all the California seniors that have wrapped up their cross country careers (or will do so over the next two weeks). We can't wait to see what you accomplish in college!
