Yreka Elks Invitational 2010

YREKA ELK'S INVITATIONAL

Location:  Lower Greenhorn Park, Yreka


Parking:    Vehicle and Bus drop off at Lower Greenhorn Park ( off Ranch Road).

Time:      9:00 Coaches H.S Meeting (finish line tent)- Starting box draw/ Q & A

                9:30am       Jackson St. hosting-Elementary Girls(5th-8th)
             10:00 am      Jackson St. hosting-Elementary Boys(5th-8th)
             10:30 am      Freshman Boys
             11:00 am      Junior Varsity Girls
             11:30 am      Junior Varsity Boys (will include #8 and up VB runners)
             12:00 noon  “The Jim Eckman” Varsity Girls ( Top 7 runners )
             12:50 pm      “The Jim Eckman” Varsity Boys ( Top 7 runners )
              1:20 PM        Chris Lopez Memorial Fun Run (Elem Course)* no official times



 
* Athletes may not run a 2nd race in the same day. 

Awards to follow 30 min after completion of VB race 

Course must be walked by 10:30 am ( Please watch out for Elementary races)

Course:    Running surfaces include trails, grass, dirt roads, and some blacktop. Much of the course is visible to the spectators.
                 Health concern: Since we are located at a park you may want to take precautions against bee stings.

Entries/Results: High School entries need to be entered through www.athletic.net.	Please enter your athletes by: Thursday, September 9th, 2010 – 9:00PM
 
Elementary/Middle School entries- go to Athletic.net middle school division to sign up (Yreka Elks Invite)

Entry fees	:$120.00 max- per school or $5.00 per individual/$3.00 Elementary Make checks payable to : Yreka H.S. Cross Country NO REFUNDS!

T-shirts:	T-shirts will be available for purchase $12.00

Food Concessions: Yreka Elks’ Famous “Chuck wagon” will be selling food/drinks
