University of North Carolina bound pole vaulter Sandi Morris cleared 13 feet, three inches today in preparation to this coming weekend's USATF National Junior Olympics at the Rusty Shealy Pole Vault Club Championships.
Sandi Morris set a new personal best of 13 feet, 3.5 inches enroute to her first national title at USATF Junior Olympics Nationals in Sacramento, Calif.
The two governing bodies of youth track & field bump heads this weekend in their respective "Junior Olympics" events, with the AAU version taking place in Norfolk, VA and the USATF going off in Sacramento, CA. Florida had a pair of national titles... one at each event.
