FRESNO RELAYS INVITATIONAL 2021
Fresno HS is pleased to invite your team to the 3rd Annual Fresno Relays invitational!!
The relays consist of three varsity relay races for both boys and girls: Top 3 runners in your team (Team A). The next top 3 varsity runners on your team (Team B). Finally, your 7th, 8th and 9th runners on your team (Team C). We also have a Middle School relay event.
Relay Race:
The first runner on your relay team will run the 1st mile of the XC course.
The second runner on your relay team will run the next 1.1 mile of the XC course.
The last and third runner of your relay team will run the 3rd mile of the XC course.
Relay exchange points will be at the mile mark of the XC course, where runners will need to pass on the baton to their next team member. Judges will be located on the relay exchange point. Each team is responsible for bringing their own baton.
We will provide finishing combined times for your relay team. For relay events, only third runner on your relay will be provided with a bib number, but every participant must be registered.
Team relays must wear same uniform.

8:30 AM MS Boys & Girls 2 Mile
9 AM Frosh/Soph Boys & Girls 2 Mile
9:30 AM JV Boys/Girls 2 Mile
10 AM Varsity Team C & MS Girls/Boys Team A 5,000 m
10:30 AM Varsity Team B Boys/Girls 5,000 m
11 AM Varsity Team A Boys/Girls 5,000 m
11:30 AM Coaches/Open Relay/5k
Note: For every event, well have both boys and girls running at the same times. Relay teams must bring own baton for relay events!
