Del Oro senior Riley Chamberlain won her fourth consecutive Sierra Foothill League cross country title in rolling over the 5,000-meter course at William Jessup University in Rocklin, in a PR-time of 17:01.9. Whitney junior Katie Kopec was second in 17:37.7. Senior Kayla Rutz was third in 17:42.4 in leading Oak Ridge to the team title. Senior Ava Maier was fifth for Oak Ridge (18:03.7), junior Brooke Butler was sixth (18:12.0), sophomore Samantha Liaty was seventh (18:13.0) and freshman Addison Clinton was 12th (19:07.0) as Oak Ridge put up 33 points. Granite Bay, led by junior Carly Foster's fourth-place finish (17:51.4), was second with 46 points.
Senior Zachary Graeber led a 1-2-3 finish for Folsom and a team title at the Sierra Foothill League cross country finals at William Jessup University in Rocklin. Graeber ran the 5,000-meter course in 15:39.9, followed across the line by juniors Ethan Smith (15:45.2) and Nathan Short (15:55.1). Rocklin sophomore Aakash Arumugam was fourth (16:03.5, and junior Cole Jamieson was fifth (16:09.9) for Whitney, which placed second, 15 points behind Folsom.
