13th ANNUAL CENTRAL VALLEY TRACK AND FIELD CLASSIC March 28, 2020
Enclosed you will find meet entry information for the 13th Annual Central Valley Track and Field Classic. Last year the meet was very successful and this year plans to be even better.
Location: Clovis North High School 2770 E. International Ave, Fresno. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete on Mondo Super X Track. This year we will be offering an F/S Boys only division in the running events and in the following limited field events LJ, TJ, Shot, & Discus. An athlete cannot compete in two different divisions. To avoid any confusion, please read all of the information before sending in your entries. Meet Entry Information: 1. Schedule: Please review the time schedule. We will try to keep the meet moving and on time. 2. Marks: When entering, make sure to list the athletes seasonal best marks for this year only. It is difficult
to place any athlete in his/her proper flight/heat without this mark. Athletes without a mark will be seeded last, if at all. Regardless of ability. 3. Entries: All entries will be done online at Athletic.net this year. by Sunday, March 22nd at 11:59pm. 4. This Years Marks Only Please. 5. 3 entries per school, per event (except the 1600, 3200, and will get 4 entries per school) and one relay
team per school, per event. 6. In field events, (TJ, LJ, SP, and Discus) each athlete will receive 4 attempts, no finals. 7. Please make sure to provide both home and school phone numbers, and a valid email address. You will be notified during the week of the meet regarding the status of your entries. If you do not receive an email by noon of Wednesday, March 25th confirming your entries, please contact Rich Brazil at (559) 327-5426 or via email at richardbrazil@cusd.com immediately. This means that either we did not receive your entries, or your email address was incorrect. 8. Fees: Entry fees are $8.00 per athlete. For those schools with large number of entries, meet management has instituted a maximum entry fee of $300.00. Please make checks payable to Clovis North Track and Field. Entry Fees need to be paid at the time of packet pick-up. If you do not bring a school check you must have a personal check or cash. If you fail to bring your entry fees your fee will double per CIF section rule 6.4 Entry fees are doubled if not paid by deadline. (Rule 13, page 2 of Awards and Entry Fee Chart). 9. Entrance: The main entrance will still be used for spectators of the meet to enter at a cost of $5.00 per adult
and $2.00 for students with ID. 10. Awards: New this year, 4-inch Custom Medals will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place of all individual races and
only 1st place team of each relay. There will be a limited number of Meet Shirts for Sale, Performance & regular T- Shirts. 11. Results: Finish Lynx automatic timing will be used and all results will be posted as the meet goes on. All
