Foot Locker West Regional 2018

We caught up with the boys from Farmington (Utah) HS, a first-year school/team without a senior class. In a fall of firsts for Farmington, the Phoenix won the Utah Region 5 title, placed third in the state 5A competition, and is making its first trip to Mt. SAC for the Foot Locker Western Regional. 

Thomas Boyden from Sal Lake City, Utah, was sixth at the Foot Locker West Regional. Boyden will help represent the West Region at the Foot Locker National Championships on Dec. 8 in San Diego.

Allie Janke, a sophomore, was second at the Foot Locker West Regional to make the 10-runner West Region team that will compete at the Foot Locker National Championships on Dec. 8 in San Diego.

Erinn Hill from Spokane, Washington, was ninth at the Foot Locker West Regional meet and made the 10-member West Region team that will compete at the Foot Locker National Championship on Dec. 8 in San Diego.

Lexy Halladay, a junior from Idaho, was fourth in the Seeded Girls race at the Foot Locker West Regional and earned a spot on the West Regional team that will compete Dec. 8 at the Foot Locker National Championships in San Diego.

Porshe Eismann of Eagle Mountain, Utah, won the Junior Girls race at the Foot Locker West Regional championships at Mt. San Antonio College. Eismann covered the 5K course in 19:35.1.

Abby Kendrick of Missoula, Montana, won the Sophomore Girls race at the Foot Locker West Regionals at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. Kendrick covered the 5K course in 19:20.4.

Kashon Harrison of New Mexico won the Foot Locker West Regional boys seeded title for the second year in a row.

La Costa Canyon senior Kristin Fahy, the CIF-State Division II champion, won the Foot Locker West Regional title a year after having to stop because of injury. 

Random images from a Friday as athletes from across the Western Region converged on Mt. San Antonio College to walk, jog, run, and explore the famous 5K course that will play host to the Foot Locker Western Regional meet on Dec. 1. It's a little muddy from Thursday's rain but the grounds crew was hard at work getting the course ready for Saturday's meet.
