Boys CA Performer of the Week

Griffin Kushen - Tesoro HS (SS) - Followed up on last week's performance by running a quick 14:22.40 to take the title at the Orange County XC Championships. Led Tesoro HS to a 3rd place team finish in the Sweepstakes race and was the only sub 14:30 performer at the meet.

Arrin Sagiraju - Dougherty Valley HS (NCS) - Held off a group of contestants for a nail-biting victory at the Rough Rider Invitational. Sagiraju ran a 15:06.10 on the 5K course at Woodward Park, a great way to prepare for the CIF State Championships. The senior knocked off roughly twenty seconds to set a new P.R on the historic venue.

Eyan Turk - Woodcrest Christian HS (SS) - The senior from the Southern Section once again proves that he can rise to the occasion. Clocked a 14:23.90 at the Inland Empire Challenge and secured a 10-second lead over the runner-up competitor.

Girls CA Performer of the Week

Summer Wilson - Irvine HS (SS) - Wilson rips yet another sub-16:30 performance at the Orange County XC Championships. The junior clocked 16:22.00 to emerge with the victory in the Sweepstakes race.

Rylee Blade - Santiago-Corona HS (SS) - Back on the poll once again this season, the senior standout dropped a 15:49.50 at the Inland Empire XC Challenge. Blade put on a 2-minute gap between her and the runner-up in the race. She led the Sharks to the team title at the meet.

Millie Bayles - Trabuco Hills HS (SS) - Held onto cross-section rival Summer Wilson for a runner-up finish at the Orange County XC Championships. Bayles spearheaded an attack from Trabuco Hills HS which resulted in the Top 5 runners from the Mustangs all finishing in the Top 15 of the Sweepstakes race.
