California Performer Of The Week (Sept. 23-28)

Get ready to cast your vote for the California Performer of the Week!

The week after the Woodbridge Classic tends to offer more league-based competition than multi-section races. Nonetheless, our California athletes still showed up at meets around the state, even out-of-state!

Tyler Daillak - Paso Robles HS (CS) - Posted the fastest time of the day at the Golden Eagle XC Invitational, hosted at Woodward Park. Daillak ran a 15:27.42, good enough for the victory in the 5K distance and a new P.R for his books.

Zion Ortiz - Burroughs (Ridgecrest) HS (SS) - Ortiz clocked a 15:29.80 over at Griffith Park to secure the win in the Bellarmine/Sacred Heart Invitational. The senior gapped the field by almost half a minute en route to his win on the tough three mile course.
