Today, you probably know Michael Norman from his Olympic and World Championship wins, but in high school he was busy creating a legend.
During his junior campaign, Norman won a pair of state titles in the 200m and 400m before running a one of the greatest 4x400m legs we've ever seen.
Norman got the baton roughly 50 meters back of the leaders, while his team was sitting in seventh-place. Norman took his team from seventh to third, helping the Broncos clinch their first-ever state title.
Norman's high school career ended with five state title, the 200m state record, and the No. 5 and No. 9 marks over 200m and 400m in US history.
