The Dublin Distance Fiesta is back this weekend in Northern California.

The home for the world record for the most high school boys under five minutes will feature just over 3,800 athletes, 6,100 entries and 197 schools on Friday and Saturday at Dublin High School in Northern California.

All three of those variables are new meet records.

This year's meet will enlist just over 590 boys who have broken five minutes for 1,600 meters and a total of 1,766 boys are entered in the race itself.

Talk about a gargantuan entry list.

Meet information can be found here and here

Friday's schedule will include early heats of the girls and boys 1,600m, heats of the girls and boys 3,200m and a night that includes fast 4x800 races -- featuring some of California's top state contenders.

Saturday's event will get going with 1,600m heats, followed by 800m races, 3,200m races and then a nightcap of DMR races
