SADIE ENGELHARDT (Ventura/SS)

Undefeated in eight CIF meets this season. Won at Woodbridge, running 15:42.60, the fastest time in meet history, and the fastest 3-mile time in the U.S. this season. Ran 16:38.80 on the Mt. SAC course at CIF-Southern Section Prelims. CIF-SS and CIF-State Division II champion. Ran 16:57.84 on the 5K Woodward Park course at State, the third-fastest ever by a sophomore girl and the third-fastest ever in D-II. Champs Western Regional champion. All-American at Champs National XC Championships, placing 10th. 

HANNE THOMSEN (Montgomery/NC)

Undefeated throughout the CIF season. Champion at Portland XC, Clovis, and defended her North Coast Section and CIF-State Division III titles. No. 1 California girl and top sophomore at Team Nationals, placing 16th. Her 5K time of 16:49.20 to win at Portland XC ranks No. 8 in the U.S., and No. 4 nationally in the sophomore class. Hanne's time at State of 17:12.8 is the second fastest ever in Division III. She ran her 3-mile PR of 16:30.60 in defending her NCS title.

PAYTON GODSEY (Oaks Christian/SS)

Runner-up at Woodbridge, running 15:51.90, the No. 2 time for 3-miles in the U.S. this season. Repeated as the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 champion. Went on to win the division title at the CIF-State Meet. Her time of 17:00.1 on the 5K Woodward Park course at State is a PR and ranks as the No. 4 time ever by a junior girl and the fifth-fastest ever in D-IV at State. Also, it ranks U.S. No. 6 in the class. Payton closed the season by winning the elite girls race at the Garmin RunningLane National Championships.
