MATTHEW DONIS (Highland/SS)

The senior won the Southern Section and CIF-State Division I titles and went on to place 13th as the No. 3 Californian at Team Nationals; his 14:35.0 on the Mt. SAC course to win the CIF-SS title, was the fastest at the meet; Won six of 10 races with one runner-up finish.

AARON SAHLMAN (Newbury Park/SS)

A consistent No. 3 for the undisputed top team in the country, saved his best for last, winning the Team Nationals individual title in 14:44.5, a course record; It was his only XC race win of his high school career; Helped his team win section, State and national titles for the third consecutive season

LEO YOUNG (Newbury Park/SS)

The senior ran 14:25.90, the second-fastest time ever on the Woodward Park course, to win the Clovis Invite; Ran 14:38 for second behind his brother in the D-II race at State; Placed 11th at Team Nationals; Helped his team win section, State, and national titles for a third consecutive season.

LEX YOUNG (Newbury Park/SS)

The senior ran 14:28 to win the Division II title at the State Meet, the fourth-fastest time ever at State, a D-II record, and the third-fastest time ever by a senior boy; Ran 14:38.1 to win the Southern Section D-2 title; Ran 14:32 for second at Clovis, the No. 3 time ever at that meet; Helped his team win section, State and national titles for a third consecutive season.
