This chart ranks year-over-year improvement for girls in the class of 2025 on the 3-mile course at the Mt. SAC Invitational. We took their freshman times from the '21 Invite and compared them to their sophomore times run last weekend.
The initial query was for 2,500 athletes. The list was then edited to remove girls who did not rank among the top 2,500 at last year's meet and those who did not have times from the invite for both years. Year-over-year times for the remaining boys were compared to get the list you see below.
The resulting list is 407 deep with an awesome 281 girls showing YOY improvement and just 126 running slower times. The data is dependent on accurate graduation years on athlete profiles in the MileSplit database.
