John Sesteaga, a senior at Glendora (SS), ran the 3-mile Claremont course in 15:03.29 to win the Palomares League title by just over 10 seconds in front of Ayala (SS) senior Mason Ma.
In recognition of his accomplishment, Sesteaga was voted as CA's Boys Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending Oct. 30, receiving 45.78 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. Folsom (SJ) senior Zachary Graeber was second with 21.51 percent of the vote.
Vote for this week's CA Boys Cross Country Runner of the Week based on last week's meet results through Nov. 6. Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
