Mia Chavez (Chino/SS) - Junior, dropped an impressive double winning the 800m in a CA No. 3 2:10.61, and running the second-fastest mile on CA soil in 2021, 4:55.72. 25.85% Audrey Suarez (Mayfield/SS) - Senior, ran the fastest mile on CA soil in 2021 to win the invitational in 4:52.74, CA No. 3 among high school runners. 22.45% JSerra (SS) - Distance Medley Relay team of junior Ashlee Gallegos, sophomore Hanna Barmettler, sophomore Anastasia Snodgrass, and freshman Georgia Jeanneret ran U.S. No. 1 time of 11:54.43. 11.15% Hope Gordon (Sherman Oaks Notre Dame/SS) - Junior won the shot put with a CA No. 1 and PR of 45-7.25, and also threw a PR of 131-6 for ninth in the discus 9.75% Mia Barnett (Crescenta Valley/SS) - Senior, ran away with the 3200m in 10:01.18, surpassing Jordan Hasay for No. 5 in meet history. 9.13% Lauren Fowler (Buchanan/CS) - Senior, placed second in the 200m with a 24.50 PR, and third in both the 100m (11.80) and long jump (18-11.75w/ subsequently moved up to 2nd place). 6.81% Reign Redmond Carson/SS) - Sophomore, won the 100m (11.75), placed third in the 200m (23.66) and ran on the state-best 4x200 relay (1:39.80). 5.88% Paige Sommers (Westlake/SS) - Senior, won the pole vault with a best of 13-9, the third-highest clearance in meet history. 2.94% Elise Miller (San Pasqual/SD) - Senior, won the triple jump with a state-leading 41-1 (0.0) (U.S. No. 4), and went 19-3 (3.3) in the long jump, the No. 2 mark at the meet, subsequently the winning mark following a DQ. 2.63% Katriina Wright (University City/SD) - Senior, in her first invitational 400m since winning the 2019 CIF-State Championship, pulled away at the end with a CA-best (U.S. No. 17) 54.24. 1.86% Aujane Luckey (Long Beach Wilson/SS) - Sophomore, won the 200m in a state-leading 24.20 (1.5), and helped the Bruins' 800 sprint medley relay team to 1:44.35 victory. 0.93% Bella Rigby (Bakersfield Liberty/CS) - Senior won the discus throw with a CA-leading and U.S. No. 6 PR of 163-9. 0.62%
