As the weirdness of 2020 continues to confound our boilerplate, we want to take you back to when the calendar made sense and cross country in late summer and early fall was woven into the fabric of our lives.

It will be back, as will so many other aspects of life that may have been taken just a bit for granted pre-coronavirus pandemic.

In the interim, as we prepare for a cross country season in winter and early spring, we wanted to look back to a year ago at all the amazing performances from 2019.

The weekly series will highlight results from the corresponding week in 2019 with articles ranking the top runners each week for boys and girls on 5,000-meter and 3-mile courses.
