Here's a rundown of how all Oakland Section athletes did at the CIF-State Championships (all results are in qualifying except the girls 3200):
- Edwards Woods (McClymonds/Jr.) placed 21st, 100 (10.99/1.3)
- Jonathan Simmons (Skyline/So.) placed 21st in the 400 (49.73)
- Anthony Coleman (Madison Park/Jr.) 25th in the long jump (19-07.75/1.4)
- McClymonds boys 4x100 relay team (Montrell Smith, Daniel Phoenix, Elijah King-Turner, Edwards Woods) placed 26th (43.59)
- Eleanor Wikstrom (Skyline/Jr.) placed 19th in the 1600 (5:02.20)
- De'saya Smith (Skyline/So.) placed 24th in 100 hurdles (15.96/0.6)
- Caroline Garrett (Oakland Tech/Sr.) placed 14th in the 3200 final (10:43.25).
