Eastlake's Patricia Miessner, who impressed spectators and opponents alike at Mt. SAC, ran away with the race, clocking a 17:37.1. "I really didn't have a strategy other than to stay with Caitlin (Cornell of San Marcos)," said Miessner (pictured), who lost to Cornell a year ago. El Camino's Liliana Prieto got up for second in 17:57.7 as the two joined Fahy at cracking 18 minutes. Canyon Crest surprised by winning the team title by 19 points over Oceanside El Camino.
