The CIF State Meet has come and gone, and it was amazing! And yet, outdoor season continues, as many of California's best will compete over the next month. We're going to keep covering the Golden State's athletes throughout the summer, and we're also launching a three-week series of statistical articles. First we'll look at the details of the CIF State Meet, and then we'll wrap up the spring portion of the outdoor season with All-Sections rankings, not to mention the final Grade-Level rankings of the outdoor season. After that, it's time to look ahead to the 2018 track season with returning rankings! When July rolls around, we'll shift our focus to the upcoming cross country season, while still following the progress of summer track. As we say at MileSplit, there is no offseason.
