Top 6 Story Lines for Day 2 at Sac Joaquin Masters

5) Can Davis girls win the 400 meter relay?
The Davis team (photo above courtesy of team twitter account) has garnered quite a reputation for distance prowess with two second place finishes at the last two NXN meets. They have also had multiple individuals record some of the fastest distance times in California history. Tonight, Davis will be trying to make quite a statement in the sprint department. Yesterday, the team of Julia Curtis, Tessa Malone, Paige Rubinstein and Brooke Rebinstein rocked it with a new school record of 47.47 and one of the fastest time in the section. The fastest time recorded this year was by the Sheldon with a 47.02 at the Oregon Relays. Sheldon will not be in the final but Davis will have their hands full with an Edison team that has run 47.31. It will be interesting to see if the team known for their distance running could possibly take the shortest relay event.
