Boys National Championship Race

Pre-race favorite Solomon Haile claims the individual Championship capping an undefeated season. After a blistering start by CO Evan Appel, pre-race favorite Haile took the lead and never looked back. Running away with the title in a swift 15:15. Girls National Championship Race

Jordan Hasay repeats as National Champion "Book Ending" a storied career. Battling with defending champion Ashley Brasovan over the final mile Hasay locks it in for a 17:21 victory. Colorado standout Allie McLaughlin took it out hard from the gun with a 5:22 opening mile and led until 400 meters to go when Brasovan took the lead. PennTrack's own Don Rich and California Runner/ Arizona webmaster Margot Kelly will be taking photos. Florida Runners Jason Byrne on video and National Editor Fran McLaughlin writing meet summaries and features. After the race, Jason Byrne will be doing video interviews with kids in the south. He will be working with "Doctor" Bob Cook (a coach from Florida).
