The Agoura star kicked off her indoor season with a bang, placing third against a collegiate field - and fellow California hurdler Kaylah Robinson was 5th for US #3!
Agoura star Tara Davis kicked off her indoor season in a big way Saturday, clocking 8.31 in the 60 Hurdles to enter the national rankings at US #1. The time came in the finals of the UW Preview, where Davis finished 3rd against college competition (including former Clovis North star Rhesa Foster, now competing for Oregon). In the same race, Kaylah Robinson (El Cerrito) ran 8.50 to rank US #3, finishing 5th overall behind only Davis and three collegians.
Also during the meet in Seattle, Tierra Crockrell (Calabasas) ran 24.82 for 200 meters, putting her at US #22 so far this indoor season. Davis also competed in the long jump, putting up marks of 19' 11.75 US #3 and 40' 1.5" US #6. Her local rival, Noelle Schiller (Westlake), also competed, jumping 18' 1.75" to rank 3rd in the state this winter counting indoor and all-comers meets.
