Saturday:
Kiana and I decided to sleep in. Well, I slept in. Kiana slept until 15:00 (3:00 pm). While Kiana was still asleep, I went out for pastries with Alyssa, the other shot putter on Team USA. I am not ashamed to say that I went back for more of the AMAZING PIZZA for breakfast.
After that, Alyssa and I went searching for Mill Island. It's an Island in Bydgoszcz that I had read about before the trip. It was a really cool place and we decided that we wanted to take others back with us later that day.
After we returned to the hotel, we dressed up to go back to the Island with a few more friends.
We took some fun pictures with cotton candy we got from a little old lady on the Island.
We all decided to rent boats to ride down the river. One of our groups got a motor boat that kept pace with the push of a button. My group was not so lucky and ended up with a paddle boat. We definitely got our workout in for that day!
