California pre star Julia Maxwell (Branson HS, Ross) has committed to Stanford University. The division 5 cross country champion, who battled injury to defend that titel last fall, brings strong credentials and great enthusiasm to Palo Alto.
Recently Maxwell stated "I am so happy and excited to be committed to running cross country and track for Stanford." Cardinal head coach Chris Miltenberg adds Maxwell to an already impressive group that will arrive for training camp in the fall. Maxwell comes from a Branson HS program that is small but powerful, and she looks forward to further team success. "The I cannot wait to join a program with so many incredibly talented athletes that I know will push me to get the most out of myself!"
