JUNIOR ACHIEVERS '23 Athletes Now At the Head of the Class

There were 11 new state-best marks in the Class of 2023 from performances last week, 10 of which were achieved at the Arcadia Invitational. And ... AND ... two of those are now U.S.-leading marks in the class.

A note about Newbury Park's Lex Young (banner image by Daniel Hernandez), his 3200m time for 2nd to senior teammate Colin Sahlman in the Invitational section, is No. 2 all-time at the meet, the No. 4 all-time performer in CA, regardless of class, and a state junior class record (nearly a year after setting the state sophomore class record, also at Arcadia).
