This is a weekly series that will highlight some of the top up-and-coming young stars in the Golden State. This week our focus is on girls who stood out at the Jan. 29 CA Winter Championships at Arcadia HS.
A couple of the girls we featured in a pre-Winter Championships Future Stars article won event titles on at the meet:
The meet at Arcadia HS was a culmination of a series of qualifier meets that begin in mid-December and continued after the holidays. (Athletes compete unattached in these events, although we do use school affiliations for identification purposes.)
This week's feature highlights six other girls in either the 2025 or 2024 class who made an impact at the Winter Championship meet.
