Championship season in the Los Angeles City Section comes up fast with preliminary heats set for Wednesday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills.

Note that the rankings rely on results already in the database and may not include scattered individuals or teams that have not reported results this season.
For that reason, neither of the Division 5 previews include a database report. In that division, USC Media Arts & Engineering, the dominant team in both genders over the past few years, has not reported results this season.
