We caught up with record-setting distance runner, Sadie Engelhardt, a freshman at Ventura (SS) High, to discuss her recent 3200-meter national class record, the incredible start to her inaugural high school outdoor season, who inspires her, the upcoming trip to New York to compete in the mile at the New Balance National Indoor Championships at the Armory, and more.
