Freshman Kaiya Brooks ran away from the competition to win the girls Division V championship at the CIF-Central Coast Section finals, running the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont in 18:07.57. Senior Tevah Gevelber placed second in 18:54.92 in leading Castilleja to the team title.
