Coaches Meeting:

Coaches meeting will take place at 10:30am at the start/finish line. Field event time schedule may change due

to entries.

Clerk of the Course:

All events will be seeded prior to the start of the competition. All athletes are required to check in at the clerk of the course near the start/finish line or at their field event prior to the start their event. Coaches: enter everyone since it is easier to scratch than to add.

Simultaneous Competition: Athletes who are competing in events taking place at the same time must ensure the attending officials are aware of your need to leave for the other event. However, if they return after a bar height has changed; they must attempt the new height. They must return before the completion of the event. Their missed attempt does not guarantee they will be given a final attempt.

Implement Weigh-In: There will be no implement weigh-in.

Horizontal Jumps and Throws: Each athlete will receive 4 attempts.

Facility:

The track is an eight lane surface requiring spikes (pyramids or needles are allowed).

The Javelin will be thrown off natural grass on the upper throws field east of the track.

Warm-Up Area: Athletes will be allowed to warm up on the stadium infield.

Tents: Allowed in stands on both sides of stadium-not in the line of sight of the press box

Trainer:

The College of the Canyons training staff will be on site. Please provide your own medical supplies and tape.

Team Dressing Facilities & Restrooms: Will be available in Physical Education Building

Public Restrooms:

Public restrooms are available on the backside of the home stands.

Implement Weigh-In:

There will be no implement weigh-in.

Results:

Results will be posted after the conclusion of each event. Each school will be issued a complete set of results following the conclusion of the meet. Results will also be available on www.directathletics.com following the conclusion of the meet.

Parking:

Buses will unload and park in the stadium Parking lot. Spectators should also us this lot.

Directions: From the North: 5 FWY South to Valencia Ave exit. Turn left, and proceed through two lights turn right into stadium parking lot.

From the South: 5 FWY North to Valencia Ave exit. Turn right on Valencia Ave. proceed through light turn right into stadium parking lot.
