MEET DETAILS

Race Date September 12th, 2023 @ River Islands in Lathrop, CA.

o Race start and finish will be located to the east of the River Islands Base Ball field located @ 1051 River Islands Pkwy, Lathrop, CA 95330. Parking is not authorized in the Ball Field parking lot.

Course will be a 5K mixed trail of asphalt and compacted dirt.

Timing and Results will be provided by www.redcaptiming.com

All athletes competing will need to register online @ www.milesplit.com prior September 8th to be allowed to compete. (see registration detail below)

DEADLINES

Registration Opens July 12th, 2023.

Registration Closes September 8th, 2023.

Packet Pickup begins @ Roughly 2:00 PM day of event.

TENATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

3:45 Coaches Meeting at the Start/Finish line.

4:00 Varsity Boys 5K Race Start

4:30-4:45 Varsity Girls 5K Race Start

PARKING

All Coaches, Athletes and Spectators will be required to park in the designated soccer field parking lot. If you Google Map River Island Fields Parking Lot it will give you directions to the parking lot.

Parking in the River Islands Baseball Field Parking lot is not authorized for this event. Coaches, please make sure to relay this information to your team.

THE COURSE

Out and back 5k course of mixed asphalt and compacted dirt. (see attached course map)

Course will be marked with cones and chalk/marking paint.

Volunteers will be stationed at key points along the course. (Volunteers Needed!)

Course Rabbit will be provided.

PACKET PICKUP

Team Packet Pickup will be available beginning at 2:30 PM on race day located at the start/finish line. The packets will include competition bibs for all athletes who are registered prior to the deadline.

Coaches, please meet with the www.redcaptiming when picking up packets to discuss bib placement.

RESULTS AND SCORING

Results will be available live @ www.redcaptiming.com/2023/mhsxc1 and available on www.athletic.net after completion of the race and uploaded to the internet.

AWARDS

Finisher Medals will be awarded to the top 10 finishers in each of the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls events.

ADMISSIONS/CONCESSIONS

There is no charge for parking or admission.

Food trucks are typically onsite and will be available.
