Aztec Invitational 2023

San Diego, CA

Meet Information

High School Coaches:

This is a by invitation-only meet. Invitations will be sent out in early January 2020 to our master invitation list. If your school is not on our list and you want to come, send me a note and I will add you.

The first 12 High Schools that respond to invitation will be invited to register for the meet on Athletic.net. We give preference to High Schools traveling from other countries, states or long distances. This meet typically fills up about a week after I email the invitations, but we have had cancellations in the past, so we do maintain a waiting list.

Each High School will be allowed 3 (three) entries per event to keep the fields to 36 or four sections of nine for races run in lanes. If needed, entry accommodations will be made for High Schools traveling from great distances. The Imperial Mile will be run on Friday afternoon, March 27, as a part of our Distance Carnival. The rest of the meet will be competed during the College and Professional Invitational Meet on Saturday, March 28. Remember that we dont offer all events. (No Triple Jump, 3200m, 300m hurdles Discus Throw and Mile instead of 1600m)

Per National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) rules, if a High School athlete competes unattached in the Open or Invitational section of the meet, they cannot compete in the High School section.
