1st Annual Arcadia Distance Challenge
March 19th, 2022 @ Arcadia High School
Arcadia HS Track and Field is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Arcadia Distance Challenge. We will be offering races in the 800, 1600, and 3200 as well as the distance relays (4x800, 4x1600, and Distance Medley Relay).
Schedule will be released once entries close. This will be a twilight/night meet. It will start no earlier than 3:00PM. Entry Fee: $8 per athlete per event and $30 per relay. | Awards: Medals to be given to top six in each race. Further meet information will be shared on 1/10/22. Entries will begin on Athletic.net beginning on 1/10/22.
If you would like your team to be part of this meet, please email Coach Schultz with your schools name, contact information, and an estimate of the number of athletes you would like to bring. This will aid in putting together the schedule. From The Arcadia Distance Challenge To The Arcadia Invitational! In addition, the Arcadia Invitational will award a select number of automatic qualifying spots from the Arcadia Distance Challenge directly into the 54th Annual Arcadia Invitational, taking place on April 8th and 9th! If you
have any questions on the qualifying aspect below, please email Rich Gonzalez at ArcadiaMeetDirector@gmail.com These spots into the 2022 Arcadia Invitational will be up for grabs at the 2022 Arcadia Distance Challenge:
For the Boys and Girls 800, 1600m and 3200m Run:
The fastest time at the Distance Challenge will be guaranteed a spot into the top heat at the Arcadia Invitl. The 2nd-, 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-fastest times will be guaranteed acceptance into a heat at the Arcadia Invitl. We will also have a Rising Stars Mile at the Arcadia Distance Challenge. The race winner and the fastest
freshman in that race will be guaranteed entry into the Rising Stars Mile at the Arcadia Invitational in April. For the Boys and Girls 4x800 relay, 4x1600 and Distance Medley Relays:
The fastest team in each of these three events at the Arcadia Distance Challenge will be guaranteed a spot into the fastest heat at the Arcadia Invitational in April.
The next three fastest times at the Distance Challenge will be guaranteed acceptance into the Arcadia Invitl.
