Meet Information

  • Thank you for your patience as  know this is late in the week for getting coaches meet day info. 
  • Entry close on Tuesday 5/4 @ 9:00P

  • Event and time Schedule will be sent out early 5/5, along with accepted entries.
  • Schools will have a scratch window on Wed 5/5 to update their team entries. After that window closes. on Wed night 5/5 We will calculate school invoices and send out to each school. If after Wed you have scratches or no shows they are still part of the invoice total due. 
  • Checks and Cash accepted at the team check in area. Paypal is available for online payment. 
  • Checks made payable to : SPHS Tiger Booster Club  (memo field : SPHS Track Program)
  • Team Fees:  (fees are based on a team's total entries after the scratch window closes. NOT the TOTAL # of ATHLETES. If a team has only one individual athlete doing 4 events that would be $100. See the calucations below to determine your team fees)
  • $25 per entry for 1-4 entries  (ex: 4 entries x $25 = $100)

    $20 per entry for 5-10 entries (ex: 10 entries x $20= $200)

    $15 per entry for 11+ entries (ex: 20+ entries x $15 =$300)  
  • $30 per relay 
  • $20 team fee for every school to be added:  to help with the assistance with protocols cost we incurr on the meet mgmt to be able to offer this meet. There is a lot of extra background cost than usual to pull this off.
  • There is not team cap but if schools need assistance with the team cap, you can email me indivdually and we will take that case by case.  cbrichards600@gmail.com
  • Field Event start at 11:30 AM *schedule  and event order will be sent out tomorrow morning 
  • Track Event start at 3:30 PM * CIF order of events 4x100 to 4x400

We will be updating this information. The meet is approved by both CIF-SS and the LA CDPH. At this time. We are looking at Field Events starting first and separate from the running events on the track. Field events are slated to begin as early as 11AM on 5/7 and complete by 2:30 PM. This will be updated following registration. We will then begin 4x100 to 4x400 CIF order of events for the track races.

We are going to offer Rising Stars level (our Frosh Soph division) in most events. Most teams' rosters are lowest in their 9th-10th graders this covid year. So, if the Rising Stars event doesn't have enough entries to warrant running its own heat, we will simply absorb those Rising Stars entries into the same Varsity event, in the lowest heat. We then flag the top Rising Stars finishers (after the full event is over) and medal them accordingly. Currently we are looking to medal 1st through 5th in all Varsity Individual Events and 1st -3rd on Rising Stars.

Due to limited athletes and time factors in the Long Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vault, those events will not offer a Rising Stars level. Only Varsity (Rising Stars can compete with the Varsity athlete, just enter them in the Varsity Field event if no RS level is offered)

So please go into your team entries and move any 9th or 10th graders that you would like in the Rising Stars level of their event.
