Note: This meet is by INVITE ONLY. You may try to get invited by contacting the coach listed below.
Dear Coach, 05/31/2008
The 12th Annual Firbird Invitational (24th race overall) will be held at
Fremont High on Thursday, September 11, 2008. The course is a flat, 2.05 mile
race held on the Fremont High School athletic fields. Medals are given out as
the individual winners cross the finish line with the team scores tabulated before
the end of the invitational. Individual runner's times will be sent out within a
few days of the race. Please field a complete Boys Varsity team (minimum 5)
and a complete Girls Varsity team (minimum 5) before fielding other teams.
Boys Fr/Soph will be held to a maximum 10 entrants per school.
2007 Cost = $75 for entire invite, made out to Fremont High School Cross Country.

On race day, when you arrive at Fremont, please have race forms prepared and turn into
the finish line tables. One form is included with this letter. Xerox one copy for each
division you plan on entering a team in. If you haven't prepaid, please bring your check as well.

P.S. Please encourage all bus & car drivers to use the student parking lot on Fremont
Ave and NOT the front lot by our large gym on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Ave. The front lot
gets very congested at the end of our school day.
Lynbrook: Arrive at Pizza Parlour by 5:30 - pizza ready at 5:45, expect to be done by 6:45
at the latest. We will order 20 pitchers of soda & water along with 12 pizza's (3 cheese,
3 pepperoni, 2 combo, 1 vegy, 2 hawaiian, 1 sausage). If you have any special dietary needs,
please let me know in advance. Call Jakes on Wed to place order (720-8884).
